I understand your building has a "no-pets" policy, but may I bring my emotional support dog (ESA)?

In short, no.

Our understanding of the guidelines under the New Jersey’s Law Against Discrimination (New Jersey LAD) and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state that while emotional support animals can have therapeutic benefits for the pet owner, neither the federal ADA nor New Jersey’s service animal law includes pets for what is commonly referred to as an emotional support dog (ESA).
